What does Arboreal/Terrestrial/Fossorial mean?

Arboreal - Tarantulas found in trees - these will require more vertical height than substrate and a vertical cork bark or similar to replicate the natural habitat.

Terrestrial - Tarantulas found on the ground - these will require a few inches of substrate in case they do some shallow digging or ‘redecorating’. These will also need a cork bark, plant pot or similar hide.

Fossorial - Tarantulas found under the ground - these will require very deep substrate and possibly a starter burrow. These are often known as the ‘pet holes’ of the tarantula world as they don’t come out very often.

Will you be attending/trading at any shows this year?

This year we will be attending the British Tarantula Society Show on the 17th May and we will be trading at the Western Invertebrate Show on the 19th July in Bristol and the Eastern Invertebrate Show on the 13th September in Bedford. Further information on the Bristol and Bedford shows can be found on the Invert Shows UK facebook page.

Do you buy people’s collections or surplus stock?

If you have any queries regarding us purchasing any livestock or collections from you, please contact us via email and we can discuss any possibilities. Please note that we will not accept any centipedes.

Do you/will you sell centipedes/reptiles?

Unfortunately we will not be selling centipedes as we don’t have suitable housing to keep them, ourselves and our other pets safe. As for reptiles, we do not currently have reptiles to sell but do hope to have the opportunity to sell them in the future.
